Eva Schneuwly is a Zurich-based architect and visual researcher working at the intersection of film, architecture, and scenography. Since completing her Master’s degree in Architecture at ETH Zurich in 2023, she has been pursuing independent projects that explore the spatial and political dynamics of the built environment through a multimedia lens.
Her work often unfolds in collaboration with institutions such as Grünstadt Zürich, EPFL Lausanne, Tanzmanufaktur Saarland, Fri-Son Fribourg, and Verein Zitrone. She develops scenographic concepts, films, and spatial interventions that critically engage with questions of ecological transformation, urban speculation, and collective memory.
Earlier projects include Hybridlandscape, developed with Ansgar Stadler and supported by the Chair of Prof. Günther Vogt, and Gewerbe oder Wohnen?, a research project on housing and commodification in Berlin, created in collaboration with Angelika Hinterbrandner and the Chair of Prof. Arno Brandhuber. She has contributed to publications such as trans Magazin, Lilla Strauss, and Akut Magazin.
Working between Fribourg, Zurich, and Berlin, she situates her practice within collaborative, research-driven processes that blend analytical inquiry with visual storytelling.
